From the beautiful high ceilings and velvet curtains of Castle Green to the elegant and timeless JINZA Couture Bridal gown, this team packed a punch with prettiness that will undoubtedly spur your own imagination. The vision behind the shoot was a juxtaposition that capitalizes on the grandness of the castle with soft floral accents by Designer Dana Lee, a muted pastel color palette and delicate décor elements.
"Dripping with gorgeous details and overflowing with stunning color, this Moroccan wedding inspiration was visualized by Events by Cassie and captured by Three16Photography – personally it’s the best way to close out a week! It’s inspiration overload and every last gorgeous moment is worth seeing a dozen times. Inspired by The Ebell of Long Beach’s recent remodel, the venue oozes with Moroccan vibe from the architecture to the tile flooring. Making this venue ripe for something that would beautifully accentuate its grandeur – Cassie saw an opportunity and there is nothing more alluring then Moroccan beauty that unfolds strikingly into wedding inspiration for our readers. This romantic scene was set for a feast with rich hued blooms from Flower Allie and not one but two on point gown designed of Jinza Couture Bridal and Mary Me Bridal."

Outdoor weddings seem to have the most lovely, whimsical nature to them, and when a wedding is hosted at a vineyard, the chances that it’s going to be a gorgeous event are pretty good. It’s no surprise that Anna and Daniel fell in love with Rancho Victoria Vineyards in North California, and selected a broad pastel palette, inspired by the sky after a thunderstorm. The bridesmaids donned mismatched BHLDN gowns in a mix of soft blues, greys, mauves, and pale pinks, while waving stems of larkspur and delphinium lined the aisle. The outdoor reception was just as lovely, with wood accents grounding the space. Click HERE to see the full feature on Once Wed.
Amanda + Corey’s love story has been such a sweet journey from hello to I Do! They met in Africa on a Habitat for Humanity trip and, despite returning to different states once home, their love grew as they traveled back + forth to visit one another and eventually began planning their romantic barn nuptials. Amanda’s love for both the beach and her beautiful seaside hometown brought them to Bolinas, California for their wedding day + we’re pretty sure you’re going to fall in love with the setting they created alongside their planner + designer, Ashley Pier Josi.
Mann Family Farm, a family run ranch with sweeping views and a gorgeous hilltop vista was the perfect place for Amanda + Corey to exchange their vows. Amanda shares, I always pictured my wedding on the beach or near the ocean in some way. When we started looking at wedding venues, Corey mentioned that it would be neat to have a reception in a barn. We aimed for something sweet and rustic, with coastal themes incorporated to bring together our mutual love of the ocean and our desire to have a wedding that was elegant but laid back. We had an amazing team who brought together all of these themes in to one perfect weekend.
Thanks so much to Melanie Duerkopp Photography for the beautiful images below and congrats to A + C on their dreamy wedding!
Melanie Duerkopp says, Guests were escorted back down the hill for fall’s best appetizer and dinner selections from the talented Jessica Lasky Catering as well as a Moscow Mule cocktail bar. A local acoustic band followed by Bolinas dj played all evening. Their intimate dinner inside the barn was adorned with chandelier filled greenery, market lights, hints of peach and pinks by the beautiful florist Lexie Brooks. The Aerialist Press hand wrote each chalkboard menu to top off the tables. A family style dinner was followed by a dessert buffet filled with Jessica Lasky’s most luscious sweets.

As originally featured on Greenhouse Loft:
Jessica and Taylor married on June 27, 2015, it was a bright blue sky afternoon. So much fun doing first looks right downtown amongst the hustle and bustle of Michigan Ave. This laid back and fun couple were a joy to spend the day with. I loved reading their write up, and how they fell in love with space, so amazing to hear that people connect with Greenhouse Loft, and we are always honored when people choose to spend one of the most special days here, and have us photograph the magic. Speaking of magic - Make sure you scroll all the way down to see the magic that was happening on the dance floor that night!! Thank you again to the couple, their kind family and friends, and all the vendors that brought their best!
"After the late October 2013 proposal, I constantly heckled Taylor about his timing: how were we supposed to plan a summer wedding with less than a year of planning?! At the time, we were living in Seattle & agreed to have our wedding in Chicago, closer to where I grew up. Given the distance, I spent countless hours perusing the internet to find a venue that inspired me. I came across Greenhouse Loft early in my search and it immediately became the frontrunner. I have always been enamored with Chicago architecture so I knew I wanted a loft space reflecting this ideal. Unfortunately, my heart was nearly broken when I realized how limited the availability for 2014 was. During a trip back home for the holidays, I visited my top three loft prospects in person. In a very cliché Goldilocks way: one was too boring ($5000 in "draping" to dress up the walls?), one was too much maintenance (I have to bring my own toilet paper and hand soap?!), and the final one was just perfect. Unlike my other two tours, I could tell the Greenhouse Loft group held the space very near and dear to their hearts. I looked to my mom, the one person whose opinion I always value, and could tell she felt the same comforting vibe I did. I mean, no one wants a mid-wedding toilet paper crisis! It was worth postponing our marriage a year. "
"I could not have imagined a more perfect day, venue, guest list, or husband (ha!). I realized how important it was to have vendors who truly take pride in what they do. I started to feel so silly when I thought about how much anxiety went into planning those 12 hours. How could so much stress result in something so effortless? The outcome was just stunning. The architectural elements within the loft, the beautiful urban courtyard, and the subtle tealights were everything we could have hoped for. Both of us concluded that all of the small planning frustrations we (mostly me, Taylor is annoyingly cheery and optimistic all the time) had were completely unnecessary. I was constantly afraid of outsourcing tasks to other people in fear of losing my ability to control the final output. In the process, I realized it is entirely possible to curate an all-star list of vendors while still adding an ample amount of your own personal influence. In the end, it is all about celebrating your new life together with your loved ones. So, thank you to our friends, family, and vendors for making the day one we will never forget!"
