Karen and Jeff wanted a rustic elegance theme for their ranch wedding. They incorporated peach, blush and navy to create the look. Karen had her wedding dress custom made by us in our San Francisco atelier. She loved how it perfectly captured vintage inspiration and timeless elegance!
Do you fancy a little whimsy for your Wednesday afternoon? Well lucky you, we have just the thing. Dorothy and Wilson, the ridiculously adorable couple behind this bash, weaved a tale of vibrant summer colors and endless supplies of fun. But the best part? They had a whole gaggle of little ones carrying big yellow balloons. Too cute. Photographed by Anna Kuperberg, with expert design and styling by Mints Design, this is one summer wedding you’ll want to devour every inch of.
Among a sea of weddings with neutral and muted color palettes that have been increasingly popular lately, this vibrant photo shoot in Los Angeles really stood out. The shoot took place at The Fig House, an urban-style meeting space with mid-century modern architecture and interiors. Shades of red, purple, teal, along with touches of gold on the wedding elements complemented the venue beautifully, creating a luxurious setting inspired by Hollywood glam. There was so much beauty in one place, and luckily Brian Leahy was behind the lens to capture it all.
From rich velvets, to warm ruby colors and gilded accents throughout, the style of 19th century Imperial Russian aristocracy was at the forefront of our design vision. When we met Russian photographer Anya Kernes living in LA, we knew she would be the perfect fit. In the movie, the love story unfolds on a literal stage. With that in mind, we chose The MacArthur in Los Angeles as the backdrop for the style shoot. Dripping with chandeliers and full sized stage, there couldn’t have been a better location!
"Inspired by the spot where they got engaged, these nature lovers returned to Yosemite for a breathtaking big day. Rana and Ian travel to Yosemite National Park twice each year, so they wanted their loved ones to experience their favorite places. After the ceremony, held in a grove of towering pines, guests enjoyed an elevated lodge-style reception that felt remote and natural, just like the park itself."
There’s little more magical than a bridal session in the snow, and today’s from Charis Events & Design and Jeremy Chou Photography is everything you’ve dreamed of. The snow covered forests of Big Bear Lake makes for the perfect wintery setting. Styled with sophistication, the bride is utterly elegant in her long sleeve scallop lace gown, blush fur coat, and chic updo. The romantic look is all pulled together with the unique black, white, and green florals that complement the natural scenery and beauty of winter.

Outdoor weddings seem to have the most lovely, whimsical nature to them, and when a wedding is hosted at a vineyard, the chances that it’s going to be a gorgeous event are pretty good. It’s no surprise that Anna and Daniel fell in love with Rancho Victoria Vineyards in North California, and selected a broad pastel palette, inspired by the sky after a thunderstorm. The bridesmaids donned mismatched BHLDN gowns in a mix of soft blues, greys, mauves, and pale pinks, while waving stems of larkspur and delphinium lined the aisle. The outdoor reception was just as lovely, with wood accents grounding the space. Click HERE to see the full feature on Once Wed.
Have you always dreamed of an elegant garden wedding, yet now that you’re in the planning process, you find yourself gazing longingly at on-trend boho-chic designs? This styled shoot featuring two of our gorgeous gown is sure to inspire brides who want to blend different décor elements into one beautiful day. “This photo shoot was derived from a sense of the Victorian era, with the focus on elegance and a touch of lace, lush flowers, and fine accessories,” explains Debbie Liaw of Aquafuzion.
"The model bride, wearing a boat-neck gown in French Alençon lace with a satin-organza skirt, sits on a lovely vintage settee while looking straight out of a Victorian painting. “The dress is an ideal choice for a bride who is looking for a classic, but elegant look,” says Grace Pei, owner of the JINZA Couture Bridal boutique in Los Angeles. However, the lush, oversized bouquet – composed of peonies, scabiosas, tweedias, clematis, clovers, smokebush, and seeded eucalyptus – that the model holds showcases a bohemian style. The model groom wears a classic tuxedo, but his scabiosa boutonniere reveals a less-traditional slant."

"Today's blushing bride is getting ready to dazzle guests at her Indian fusion wedding with the perfect blend of American, Chinese and Maharani style! Angela donned a stunning white wedding gown from JINZA Couture Bridal, which had elements taken from a traditional qípáo, perfectly mixed in with a classic, lace dress — and we are in love! To honor her hubby-to-be, she skipped the western-style veil, and opted for a silk dupatta that added a rich pop of color to her bridal fashions. Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema captured the breathtaking moments as she revealed her look to Raja Tushar, who was handsome as can be in his all-white ensemble and pagri with contrasting red details. With help from beauty expert Susie Chhuor of S Studios, Angela was beyond picture perfect for her pre-ceremony portraits, and when we return, she'll be heading down the aisle to exchange I dos with the Raja of her dreams! Check out the gallery for more first look moments between Tushar and his bride-to-be before we dive into their spectacular fusion ceremony moments!"
